 The universal collections and other collections once received from parishes/institutions have to be sent totally to the procurator office so that we will send to the concerned offices.  As discussed in the Senate Meeting held on 30th October 2025, Bishop informed you that it has been decided to increase the cook’s salary only for dependent parishes. This revised salary came into effect from 1st December 2025. At the same time, self-sufficient and semi-dependent parishes/institutions are requested to manage the revised salary from their parish/institution’s financial resources.  This is to bring to your kind attention that any new project or proposal (foreign or local) from schools, parishes and institutions must first be submitted to the Diocesan Bishop for his approval. Once the Bishop has signed and approved the project proposal, the same will be forwarded to the Diocesan Procurator. The project shall be placed by the Procurator before the Financial Committee and the Project Manager for discussion and implementation.  I sincerely thank all the parishes and institutions that have remitted the Universal Collection promptly to the Diocese. Your cooperation and support are deeply appreciated. At the same time, I kindly request those parishes and institutions which have not yet remitted the Universal Collection to take keen interest and do the needful at the earliest.
